After letting down their hair during Christmas and New Year break, both Indian and Sri Lankan team are gearing up for the upcoming series which starts from January 5, 2020. Ahead of the first game, the Sri Lankan team arrived in India and were spotted at the Chennai airport. Sri Lankan pacer Lasith Maligna was the star of the eyes as he was seen clicking pictures with the fans at the airport and all smiles while he met them. The first match between India and Sri Lanka will be held at Barabati Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. India vs Sri Lanka 1st T20I 2020: IND Predicted Playing XI; Jasprit Bumrah, Shikhar Dhawan All Set for a Comeback.

The second match will be played on January 7, 2020, and the Holkar Stadium in Indore will be hosting the two teams. The third game of the three-match T20I series will be played on January 10, 2020, at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. Talking about the Indian team, MS Dhoni once again made himself unavailable for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka. Whereas, former Lankan captain Angelo Mathews returned to the Sri Lanka squad for the three-match T20 International series against India. Mathew was last seen in action in the shortest format of the game in 2018.
