Earlier, Sri Lanka skipper Dimuth Karunaratne won the toss and elected to bat first. After opener Avishka Fernando was dismissed for just 7 runs, Parera managed a 93-run stand with Dimuth Karunaratne. Karunaratne was dismissed by Mehidy Hasan at the score of 36. Later, Parera accounted for a 100-run partnership with Kusal Mendis. With his century, Parera has now hit five centuries in ODIs. Hosts Sri Lanka are going great in the match with 208-3 in 33 overs.
