Now on the third day, Kuldeep Yadav created havoc by snapping three crucial wickets and on the fourth day, he added another two to his kitty. With this, Yadav got his maiden five-wicket haul on the Australian soil. Not only this, he went on to equal a 64-year-old record. He snapped five wickets by giving away 99 runs. It was England’s Johhny Wardle who had achieved this feat in 1955 as he finished with the figures of 5 for 79. Kuldeep Yadav became only fifth left-hand spinner to grab a fifer on the Australian soil. His figures 5/99 are touted to be the best for any Indian spinner in Australia since 2008. Kuldeep Yadav snapped the wickets of Usman Khawaja, Tim Paine, Travis Head, Nathan Lyon and Josh Hazelwood.
