It was England’s Johhny Wardle who had achieved this feat in 1955 as he finished with the figures of 5 for 79. Kuldeep Yadav became only fifth left-hand spinner to grab a fifer on the Australian soil. His figures 5/99 are touted to be the best for any Indian spinner in Australia since 2008. Kuldeep Yadav snapped the wickets of Usman Khawaja, Tim Paine, Travis Head, Nathan Lyon and Josh Hazelwood.
