England scored just 67 in in the first innings at Headingley, but Ben Stokes single-handedly chased the 359 run massive target to clinch victory for his team. Stokes was awarded player of the match for his game-winning unbeaten 135-run knock. England equalled the five-match Ashes 2019 Test series 1-1 after bagging victory by the 3rd Test by just 1 wicket. The 2nd Test was drawn while the first match saw Australia winning by 251 runs.
