The ghosts of spot-fixing have come back! First, it was the sting operation by the UAE based news channel Al Jazeera and now MS Dhoni’s picture with an alleged match-fixer has raised eyebrows. A few minutes ago, Balaji Telefilm’s Tanuj Garg posted a picture which could be clicked when the Indian team during the Asia Cup 2018. The picture had MS Dhoni with Garg who was seen their friend Hitesh’s house. As per KRK and a few other netizens Hitesh was the same man who was involved in spot-fixing. Garg posted the picture with a caption, “So much fun hanging with @msdhoni and the mates at our dear friend Hitesh's pad in #Dubai. An evening of video games, home-cooked food and chitter chatter!.” Kamaal R Khan obviously saw the picture and commented, “Sir is this Hitesh the same guy, who was involved in match-fixing?”

Another netizen also pointed out that Dhoni was with a match-fixer.

Talking about the spot-fixing scandal, a few days ago Afghanistan’s, Mohammad Shahzad was approached for spot-fixing. The bookies had asked him to underperform in the inaugural season of Afghan Premier League. Shahzad immediately complained about the same to the team management. The matter was then sent to the ICC’s anti-corruption unit. “There was an approach made during the Asia Cup, but for their [Afghanistan's] own T20 league," an ICC official said. "The matter was reported through the right channels on Saturday and is being looked into by the anti-corruption unit."
