KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya have been in the hot water ever since the episode of the Koffee With Karan 6 has been aired. The cricketers were slammed for the misogynist comments made on the show and even the BCCI slapped KL and Pandya with a show cause notice. COA Chief Vinod Rai went on to recommend a two-match ban for the cricketers. Now as per the latest reports, it is said that two cricketers could face an indefinite ban after their comments on Koffee With Karan 6. It is also reported that COA member, Diana Edulji is seeking a ban until the probe is done. This means that there is a cloud over Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul’s participation in the upcoming ODI series against Australia. Usually, the BCCI announced the 12-man squad after/during a press conference addressed by the captain. But, as of now, the cricketing body is yet to declare the 12-man squad for the first ODI that is all set to start from tomorrow. Virat Kohli during the press conference went on to address the issue and said that the responsible cricketers do not align with the statement made by KL and Pandya. “We as the Indian cricket team and responsible cricketers don't align with those views, those were individual opinions. We are still waiting for a decision to be made. From the Indian cricket team's point of view, this changes nothing in our beliefs in the change room, it does nothing to the spirit we have have been able to create. Combinations will have to be thought of once the decision comes out," the Indian skipper said.
