KKR vs SRH Video Highlights, IPL 2018: Kane Williamson Guides Sunrisers Hyderabad to Third Consecutive win

Sunrisers Hyderabad registered their third consecutive win in the Indian Premier League 2018 after defeating Kolkata Knight Riders by five wickets. Chasing a paltry target of 139, Sunrisers crossed the line in the 19th over without much drama. Meanwhile, courtesy this win SRH climb to the top of the IPL 2018 points table. The defeat was KKR’s second in three games. It took Sunrisers a comprehensive performance to win their first game against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens. Sunrisers’ chase began on a shaky note as they lost both the openers inside the Powerplay. Wriddhiman Saha was the first one to be dismissed and then Shikhar Dhawan too lost his wicket. Sunil Narine accounted for both the batsmen in his consecutive overs.

Things looked a bit worrying for Sunrisers after Kuldeep Yadav trapped Manish Pandey in front of the wickets. At fall of Pandey’s wicket, SRH were 55 for three in 8.4 overs. KKR vs SRH Full Scorecard

Captain Kane Williamson and Shakib al Hasan then added 59 for the fourth wicket and helped Sunrisers recover from the early jolts. It was Williamson who looked more comfortable against the KKR bowlers. Shakib then departed on an individual score of 27 while skipper Williamson fell after completing his half-century. Deepak Hooda and Yusuf Pathan then took the SRH over the line with the latter scoring 7-ball 17. For KKR, Narine picked two wickets.

Earlier, put to bat, KKR lost wickets at regular intervals and thus were restricted to 138 for eight. Chris Lynn was the top-scorer for the home side with 49 off 34 balls. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who missed SRH’s last game, returned figures of 3/26. Billy Stanlake and Shakib picked two wickets each.
