What an effort from KKR here to walk away with a win! Heinrich Klaasen almost took Sunrisers Hyderabad home with a sensational knock coupled with Shahbaz Ahmed's power-hitting. But, Harshit Rana showed nerves of steel to defend 13 runs in the final over. This match had KKR written all over it, but SRH somehow almost pulled off the impossible. In the end, the home side came out on top, much to the joy of a packed Eden Gardens. Andre Russell brought out one of his best performances in a KKR shirt, and so did Sunil Narine, the only KKR bowler not to concede a boundary in this high-scoring match. Shreyas Iyer and Gautam Gambhir are relieved men today while SRH would take away a lot of positives from this match.

What a finish it has been for KKR with Andre Russell playing the central role! The West Indies' all-rounder said he would be giving his best this season and he lived up to the statement as he hit 64 runs off just 25 balls! His and Rinku Singh's partnership helped KKR finish with a score above 200 which seemed so tough at one point. Phil Salt also scored a half-century and KKR found a big positive with Ramandeep Singh's batting. For SRH, T Natarajan took three wickets while Mayank Markande took two.
