Rajasthan Royals (RR) mentor Shane Warne has promised to join the team if they qualify for Indian Premier League (IPL 2018) final, which will take place on May 27 in Mumbai. However, RR will have to clear two obstacles to make it to the summit clash. First, the Ajinkya Rahane-led side needs to beat Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Eliminator and then will have to win the Qualifier 2 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

Earlier, Warne extended his India stay by one match after Royals defeated defending champions Mumbai Indians in a league stage match. He then stayed with the team for their next match against KRR, which they eventually lost. The former Australian then left India as RR faced Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Now, the mentor is hoping to be back in India if RR pull off wins against KKR and SRH. This 6-year-old kid has 'Blown Away' Shane Warne With his Bowling Skills.

Warne took to Twitter and apologised to Royals that he cannot be with the team for the crucial match, besides wishing them luck. The former spin great further wrote that he will be with the team on Sunday. "Good luck to the @rajasthanroyals in the playoffs. Apologies I can’t be there with you on Wednesday & Friday but will see you Sunday for the final. Remember the things we’ve spoken about re playing finals / big games - you’re ready & I’m so proud of you all. You’ve got this(sic)," Warne tweeted.

If RR fail to win against KKR, they will be eliminated from the IPL 2018. Royals won four out of their last five matches to keep their chances of playoffs alive. Eventually, the inaugural champions were assisted by Delhi Daredevils’ win over Mumbai Indians and thus they qualified for the last four. If RR indeed beat KKR and SRH, they will face Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2018 final.
