KKR vs RR IPL 2018 Video Highlight: This Stumping of Dinesh Karthik Will Make MS Dhoni Proud
Kolkata Knight Riders’ captain Dinesh Karthik has been in a terrific form
Kolkata Knight Riders’ captain Dinesh Karthik has been in a terrific form. In most of the matches, we see him standing tall for the team and giving his heart out. Karthik was impressive not only with his bat but also did a commendable job behind the stumps. It was during the 12th over when Stuart Binny was batting.
A chinaman delivery from Kuldeep Yadav and Binny came to a step further in order to flick it through midwicket. After he missed the ball it went straight in the hands of Dinesh Karthik who without batting an eyelid flicked the bails. The stumping was so brilliant that it was shared on all social handles of IPL. The caption of the clip read, “VIDEO: Fast hands Dinesh Karthik sends Binny packing. Out in a flash! Stuart Binny failed to read the Kuldeep Yadav wrong'un and captain Karthik was in business to send him back in the hut. #VIVOIPL #KKRvRR.”
This stumping would surely make MS Dhoni proud of the KKR skipper. The purple and gold army won the match by 6 wickets. Kuldeep Yadav walked away with the Man of the Match Award for delivering his career best of 4 wickets giving away only 20 runs. “They started off brilliantly but it shows our character. When we got a chance in the game, we didn't let go. We have team bonding sessions, keep our smiles, keeping going on in the tournament. He's an international quality player, he's one of the best left-arm chinaman bowlers right now. And all I have to do is make sure he is turned on. Sometimes he slacks off, bowls a bad ball trying too much so I'm just trying to make him do as well as he can and stay consistent. [Qualification is in your hands] You're scaring me." Team KKR will play against the Sunrisers Hyderabad On Saturday.
