Faf du Plessis remains unbeaten on 95 runs from 60 deliveries, His knock was studded with four maximums and nine boundaries. Ravindra Jadeja ends CSK's innings with a six over mid-wicket where Nitish Rana carries the ball over the boundary after dropping a regulation catch.

OUT! Eoin Morgan takes a brilliant catch at cover to dismiss MS Dhoni. Andre Russell finally has some respite after conceding 15 runs in the cover. Moeen Ali and Faf du Plessis take 11 runs off the 16th over to take CSK past the 150-run mark. Ali started the over with a huge six over long-off and then Du Plessis cheekily found a boundary with a scoop over third man. 

OUT! Varun Chakravarthy finally gets the breakthrough for KKR. Ruturaj Gaikwad holes out at the deep off Varun Chakravarthy's bowling. Gaikwad goes back for 64 from 42 balls. 50: Ruturaj Gaikwad has scored his first half-century of IPL 2021. He gets to the milestone in 33 balls with the help of five boundaries and three maximums. 

Faf du Plessis and Rururaj Gaikwad have put up 56 runs in the powerplay. Faf du Plessis has been the aggressor of the duo and has already stitched 30 runs in 18 deliveries while Gaikwad has scored 23 from 18 balls to give CSK the edge at the end of the powerplay. 

Sunil Narine nearly goes through Faf du Plessis' defence but the ball misses the stumps. CSK have got a good start with Du Plessis and Ruturaj Gaikwad both surviving close chances.
