However, KKR faced an injury scare after Muscle Russell was hit on the neck by a bouncer from a net bowler on Wednesday, April 17, 2019. Minad Manjrekar was the bowler who had bowled this delivery in nets to Russell. The Carribean all-rounder immediately went down after getting smashed by the ball and walked off till the dressing room. He was later taken for an MRI scan to CMRI hospital, however, the reports are not out yet and Russell's injury is still being monitored.
