The Kolkata Knight Riders went on to win the match with Kings XI Punjab yesterday at the Punjab Cricket Association in Mohali. After winning the toss, Kolkata Knight Riders decided to bowl first. The Kings XI Punjab went on to make 183 runs on the board. KKR won the game comprehensively by seven wickets and was seen smiling ear to ear as they stay in the hunt for playoffs. But the KKR skipper was far from being happy as he was seen reprimanding the players. After winning the match, the KKR skipper cited the reason for his anger. Dinesh Karthik was seen having an animated discussion with the players where they stood in a huddle during the first strategic time out of the Kings XI Punjab. After the match, he said, "It has been a hard few days. I wasn't too happy with the way the bowlers and the fielders were doing, so I thought I should let the boys know what I felt at that time. It is rare, not many people have seen me angry. If I feel I need to be angry to get the best out of the boys, they maybe.” He also went on to shower praises on Shubman Gill who scored 65 runs from 49 balls.
