After the opening game of the IPL 2018 between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings going live down the wire yesterday, the Kings XI Punjab is all set to take on the Delhi Daredevils later today at 4 pm. Both teams will play their first game in IPL 11. A few minutes ago, the team left for the IS Bindra Stadium and made a very cool exit from the hotel.
Team Kings XI Punjab left for the venue amidst Punjabi dhols as the players made way to the bus. The official page of Kings XI Punjab shared a couple of videos of the same. In the first clip, we see Chris Gayle and a few others leaving the hotel. The team captioned the video, “Game ready! LivePunjabiPlayPunjabi #KingsXIPunjab #KXIP #VIVOIPL #KXIPvDD.”
The tunes were tempting enough for Yuvraj Singh to flaunt his moves.
Talking about the game, the most interesting is that both the teams have never won the title in the last decade so it would be interesting to watch who takes the lead in the tournament. Both the teams have new captains. Gautam Gambhir, who earlier played for the Kolkata Knight Riders will lead the side. R Ashwin is the captain of the Kings XI Punjab and happens to be the 11th skipper of the team. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that the will forget the past and put their best foot forward as the teams are revamped and the captains are new. As of now, Chennai Super Kings leads the point table.
