Yesterday, England faced Australia in the 32nd game of the CWC 2019 at the Lord’s Cricket Stadium. The hosts faced a major upset as they lost to England by 64 runs further endangering their chances for the semi-finals especially because of the fact that Pakistan is still in the hunt for the final four. The home team pinned hopes of their captain, Eoin Morgan, as they chased a total of 284 runs. But he soon made way to the pavilion on the score of 4 runs after being dismissed by Mitchell Starc. This surely did not go down well with the former England skipper Kevin Pietersen. Eoin Morgan was asked about the same in the post-match conference and he obviously was quite upset with the comment. I hope not, but I’ve not seen a captain show such a weakness for a while,” read the tweet.
