Former Australian cricketer Kerry O’Keefe found himself in yet another controversy when he ridiculed the names of Indian players Cheteshwar Pujara and Ravindra Jadeja on air, while commentating during India vs Australia 2018 Boxing Day Test match, on Saturday. The commentator said, “Why would you name your kid Cheteshwar, Jadeja,” while expressing his difficulty in pronouncing names in the foreign language to his fellow commenters.

The comment didn’t go down well with the people, and they lambasted Kerry O’Keefe on social media. It is not for the first time the former Australian player has made such remarks. Earlier, O’Keefe had ridiculed Mayank Agarwal as well. He had said, “Apparently he got the triple [century] against the Railways canteen staff,” on Day 1 of the Test match.
