Kashmir Situation: Irfan Pathan, 100 Other Cricketers Directed to Leave Valley Due to Ongoing Tensions, Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Team's Domestic Season to be Affected

Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan and some other 100 support staff of Jammu and Kashmir team were directed by the governent to leave Jammu and Kashmir due to unrest in the valley.

Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan and some other  support staffs and cr of Jammu and Kashmir team were directed by the governent to leave Jammu and Kashmir due to unrest in the valley. Pathan is the player and mentor of Jammu nad Kashmir Cricket team and the and other members of the team were requested by the governemnt to leave the State. The news comes after unrest and turmoil which have affected the State.  These cricketers have been asked to leave due to security concerns. Many other cricketers have been also already asked to leave the state. More than 100 cricketers have left the state amid the safety issues.

This will give a big blow to Jammu and Kashmir cricket team and their upcoming domestic schedule.  The domestic cricket schedule starts on August 17, 2019 with the Duleep Trophy which will be followed by Vijay Hazare Trophy.  The Ranji Trophy will be played in December 2019.

The Jammu and Kashmir has been facing a sensitive situation after Indian Army informed about some attempts of infiltration by the terrorist groups.  Even the Amarnath Yatra was affected by the security issues and devottees were asked to return.
