Team South Africa has already crashed out of the CWC 2019 after their disastrous loss against Pakistan. The team lost by 49 runs at the Lord’s Cricket Stadium a few days ago which brought down the curtains to their journey in the World Cup 2019. Later today, Faf du Plessis’ men will play for pride against Sri Lanka at the Riverside Ground in Durham. Ahead of the game, JP Duminy aka Jean-Paul Duminy while addressing the press, apologised to the fans for their poor performance in the CWC 2019. Sri Lanka vs South Africa Cricket Score 35th ODI Match.

JP said when the team is playing in the World Cup, you represent 50-60 million people and with the kind of performance the team has put up, it quite shameful. As one may recall JP Duminy is all set to retire from ODI cricket after the World Cup. “It's been pretty dismal from our part. We obviously want to apologise to the public and the South African fans for letting them down. You know when you represent your country it is always a proud moment and you understand that you represent 50, 60 million people, that is a proud moment in itself. And when you put in performances like that, you know, you in a way almost feel ashamed of that."

Talking about team South Africa, the team is placed on number nine of the CWC 2019 Points table. The team has only had one win so far in the seven games played by them. Needless to say that they would want to end the tournament on a winning note.
