Jonty Rhodes the ex-South Africa cricketer who is also known as one of the greatest fielders of all time can reportedly team up with Gautam Gambhir to become the India National Cricket Team fielding coach. Gautam Gambhir has teamed up before with Jonty Rhodes when Gambhir was the mentor of the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Rahul Dravid's stint as the India National Cricket Team head coach will be coming to an end after the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 so a lot of other names have come up but Gautam Gambhir is the leading name to become the head coach of Team India. And with that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will also be naming a new fielding coach. T Dilip is the current fielding coach who was selected by Rahul Dravid to assist him.

In India's new management team, Jonty Rhodes is being considered for the position of the new fielding coach.
