Jonty Rhodes the ex-South Africa cricketer who is also known as one of the greatest fielders of all time can reportedly team up with Gautam Gambhir to become the India National Cricket Team fielding coach. Rhodes is still a part of LSG as a fielding coach but Gambhir went on to join Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) as a mentor for the IPL 2024 season and KKR emerged as the winner of IPL 2024. Rahul Dravid's stint as the India National Cricket Team head coach will be coming to an end after the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 so a lot of other names have come up but Gautam Gambhir is the leading name to become the head coach of Team India. And with that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will also be naming a new fielding coach. T Dilip is the current fielding coach who was selected by Rahul Dravid to assist him.
In India's new management team, Jonty Rhodes is being considered for the position of the new fielding coach. His name is among those who are being discussed but the ex-South Africa cricketer hasn't received a formal approach as of now as per the report by RevSportz.
