Since his debut in January 2016 in international cricket, Jasprit Bumrah has made a crucial spot in the Indian team. In the ongoing Cricket World Cup 2019, the 25-year-old pacer has delivered some great bowling spells, picking up seven wickets in four matches. In a recent video shared by BCCI, the Mumbai Indians bowler shared some insights into his life, his love for bowling yorkers and India's journey in ongoing Cricket World Cup 2019 so far.

Expressing his love for bowling, Bumrah said, "For me, I love bowling. I can bowl, and bowl. If you don't believe (yourself), nobody else would believe.  Jasprit Bumrah revealed his love for yorkers

In the video, the right-hand bowler also shared how he developed his love for yorkers. "Since I used to play in the backyard, I used to bowl yorkers quite a lot. As a youngster growing up, I used to see the television and bowlers used to get a lot of wickets on yorkers. So I thought it was the only way to get wickets."

West Indies cricketers Andre Russell and Chris Gayle also appreciated young bowler's fabulous bowling techniques. While Russell termed Bumrah as the most challenging bowler, Gayle called him unique among all fast bowlers. "Most challenging bowler, you know Bumrah bowls good yorkers and good pace," Russell said in a video. Bumrah is the top-ranked ICC ODI bowler at present and his excellence with yorkers and speed is something which is known by all. Bumrah has excelled in his bowling in ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 too, with low economy rates and clinching wickets at crucial moments.

During India's previous match against Afghanistan, he was awarded player of the match for turning the game with his two quick wickets in a single over.  Bumrah dismissed Rahmat Shah and Hashmatullah Shahidi in the 29th over and turned the match in India's favour while Afghanistan were chasing 225-run target set by the Indian team in the first innings. Bumrah also bowled tightly in the penultimate over of the India vs Afghanistan match, giving out just five runs when Afghan needed 21 runs off the last two overs. With Bumrah's clever bowling, Mohammed Shami had enough 16 runs to defend in the last over of the match and India won by 11 runs in the end.

Meanwhile, India and West Indies will collide in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tournament on June 27, 2019. The match will be played at Emirates Old Trafford cricket stadium at Manchester. India is on the third position on the points table at present with 9 points in 5 matches along with four victories. India's one match against New Zealand was washed off due to rain.
