Jasprit Bumrah, Indian pacer is likely to return for forthcoming India’s tour of New Zealand 2020. According to reports, Bumrah is likely to make a comeback on January 24, 2020, when India vs New Zealand Series 2020 commences. Bumrah suffered a stress fracture in his lower back ahead of India vs South Africa 2019 series.

Jasprit Bumrah is likely to return for forthcoming India’s tour of New Zealand 2020. According to reports, Bumrah is likely to make a comeback on January 24 next year, when India vs New Zealand Series 2020 commences at Kiwi's soil. Bumrah suffered a stress fracture in his lower back ahead of India vs South Africa 2019 series. The right-arm pacer even visited the United Kingdom to meet consultants over his back issues. His recent posts on Instagram and Twitter reveals that he is engaged in tough practice in the nets. Looks like Bumrah is all set to make a brilliant comeback against Kiwis in January 2020. He is quite active on social media and shares posts from his practice sessions. On Tuesday (November 26), he shared a photo of broken stumps and captioned it, “The End #ForTheSessionAndTheStumps”. The top-ranked ODI bowler in ICC Rankings Bumrah did not play for the Indian team in the recent Test series against Bangladesh. Moreover, he was also not part of the India vs South Africa Series 2019. He took a hat-trick in the 2nd Test against West Indies during India’s tour of West Indies 2019. India vs New Zealand Series 2020 will consist of five T20Is, three ODIs and two Tests. The tour commences on January 24, 2020 with the first T20I.  Meanwhile, India defeated Bangladesh in the two-match Test series 2019 2-0. The Virat Kohli and boys whitewashed Bangladesh in both Tests at home with an innings' margin. Prior to that, India defeated South Africa in three Tests 3-0. India have won seven Test matches in a row and lead the ICC Test Championships Points Table 2019 on the top spot with 360 points.
