Jasprit Bumrah shared a photo of himself on Instagram after reaching London, United Kingdom to consult doctors for his lower back stress fracture. The Indian bowler was ruled out of ongoing India vs South Africa Test series 2019 due to back issue. He is expected to be out of action for two months and will also miss the forthcoming series against Bangladesh. The India speedster is going through his first major injury in his three and half years of international career. BCCI has set up Bumrah's UK visit to consult doctors for his stress fracture in the lower back. NCA head physiotherapist Ashish Kaushik is accompanying the Indian bowler. Bumrah will be meeting three different specialists during in UK and will stay there for one week.
Bumrah was part of India vs West Indies Test series 2019 and he performed brilliantly during the tour. He bagged a hat-trick in 2nd Test and also rose up in ICC’s Test rankings for bowlers, bagging the 3rd spot. The 25-year-old has been India's prominent bowler for the past two years, clinching 62 wickets in 12 Tests and 103 ODI wickets in 58 ODIs. He also has 51 wickets in 42 T20I international matches so far.
