The journalist asked the Indian pacer, “I think you've been coming here for 11 years now, is that right?" asked the journalist. The team was about the practice game from today onward but the play was obstructed by heavy rains. The Indian team instead sweated it out in the gym. Ishant Sharma played the first time in Australia in 2007-08 where he dismissed Australian captain Ricky Ponting. India even went on to win the game by 72 runs in Perth.  Ishant Sharma has played Test series in Australia in 2011-12 and in 2014-15 and from the 10 games played down under, he claimed 20 wickets with an average of 62.15.

"The biggest thing right now is to win the series and that's what everybody is focusing on right now. We are not even thinking about personal performances. Just one aim that is to win a series in Australia," Ishant told reporters ahead of the four-day practice match against Cricket Australia XI on Wednesday.
