Not many know that Vivian Richards is the only batsman in Cricket history to score over 1000 runs on an international tour. He is followed by Don Bradman. And if all goes well for Kohli, who has two innings up his sleeve, we will see him go past the two legends.
Richards amassed 1,045 runs in England during their tour in 1976. The tour comprised of five Test matches and three One-Day Internationals (ODIs). However, Richards took part in only four Tests and three ODIs. He scored 829 runs in Tests and 216 runs in ODIs. In total, Richards smashed four centuries and three half-centuries during the tour.
