Mumbai, November 10: The video controversy continues to haunt Indian captain Virat Kohli as another of his comment from the controversial video has started making the headlines. The Indian captain, who has been facing quite a flak for his "Leave India" comment to a user at the time of launch of his app, had made another harsh remark to an unsavory comment made by former South African cricketer Paul Harris by asking "Who is he?". The Indian captain further said that Harris "looks like a cricketer," before moving on to the next comment. Virat Kohli's comment came he was reading aloud the messages by users on his recently launched app. One user had posted the comment made by former South African spinner Paul Harris, who had defended Proteas pacer Kagiso Rabada, when the pacer was banned for two Test matches, due to his behaviour against Australia during the controversial home series. The comment was, "If he (Rabada) has to then everyone does. I watched Kohli behave like a clown for three tests here in SA and nothing. Seems to me that @ICC either have an issue with Rabada or with the Proteas in general." After reading the comment, Virat first asked "when was this?" and then asked saying "who is he, is he a cricketer." Watch the Video Below:
On Friday, the India captain in a tweet put up a clarification of sorts, expressing neither regret nor any apology for his "Leave India" comment to a user. The "run-machine" offered his response on the whole issue by tweeting about it and said that, "I guess trolling isn't for me guys, I'll stick to getting trolled!" He also asked the fans to keep things light, after facing the heat on social media for his comment. “It was a very stupid comment to make. He should have been more careful. He must understand that the kind of money he is earning is because Indian fans have invested in this game,” said a BCCI official, when asked for a reaction on Virat's comment on his app.
