One of the very few bowlers who can consistently clock bowling speed of over 140 kph, Nagarkoti has been in news for his bustling action and quick pace. In another YouTube video that has surfaced online, it shows how Kamlesh Nagarkoti has been ricocheting stumps of the opposition with his bowling acumen. It has been less than a year since he began his First-class cricketing career, and the fast-bowler has been bowling nightmarishly for the batsmen.

Kamlesh Nagarkoti is the second joint-highest wicket-taker for the Indian team this World Cup, sharing the spot with Shivam Mavi after bagging 9 wickets. Known for his fiery yorkers, Nagarkoti has bowled out at least one batsman in every game he has bowled, except for the match against Zimbabwe where he went wicket-less. After his stupendous performances in the ongoing U19 ICC World Cup in New Zealand, Nagarkoti was given an opportunity by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) where they bought his services for a whopping 3.2 Cr.
