A few days ago, Pakistani PM Imran Khan spoke at the United Nations General Assembly. In his speech, the former cricketer spoke about Kashmir, Islamophobia and the chances of a bloodbath between India and Pakistan. The speech hadn’t gone down well with the Indian netizens and they took to social media to express their displeasure over the same. Now, Irfan Pathan, joined the bandwagon and slammed the Pakistani PM and said that his speech at UNGA will only increase hatred between the two countries. Shikhar Dhawan Slams Pakistani Cricketers for Advising India in Internal Affairs, Says ‘Fix Your Own Country First’.

He also went on to say that as a former sportsman, it is Khan’s duty to promote peace. “At UNGA speech, there were indications for India of potential nuclear war. As a prominent sportsperson, Imran Khan’s choice of words 'bloodbath' 'fight to the end' will only increase hatred between the two nations. As a fellow sportsperson, I expect him to promote peace,” read his tweet. Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir had also slammed Imran Khan for his speech and said Khan could only be a role model for the terrorists.

A couple of days ago, Shikhar Dhawan had slammed the Pakistani cricketers for intervening in India’s internal matters. During an interview, he had said that the one’s dwelling in houses of glass, should not be pelting stones at others. Prior to that he also had given a befitting reply to Shahid Afridi who had spoken about Kashmir on social media.
