IPL Diaries 2018: Watch MS Dhoni Flaunt his Football Skills at the Wankhede Stadium Ahead of MI Tie
Captain cool MS Dhoni was seen playing football at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai during the practice session of Chennai Super Kings.
Team Chennai Super Kings is already in Mumbai for playing their first match of the IPL 2018 against the Mumbai Indians. The team yesterday was at the Wankhede stadium for a practice session. The Super Kings’ skipper MS Dhoni who is usually seen hitting the ball out of the park, was seen playing football with Tommy Simsek, the physio of the team.
We all know that Dhoni’s first love happens to be football as he was goal-keeper for his school team. So without any adieu, he picked up the ball kept aside and just started dabbling it. Tommy Simsek joined the game and they passed the ball to each other and must say the captain cool looked like a pro while flaunting his skills.
Now, team Chennai Super Kings shared the video of the same on their Instagram account. They captioned the video, “CR7 nahi, MS7 bolo. @mahi7781 vs @tommysimsek7. Aaaand @russcsk 😋.”
The official page of the team also shared a few more pictures of the practice session. Here we see Sam Billings working on his muscles before hitting the nets.
As a part of the warm-up, the team was also seen running on the field before practicing their shots at the nets.
Finally, Dhoni was at the nets hitting a few shots.
Talking about the first match on April 7, team Mumbai Indians will be led by Rohit Sharma. The match is expected to be a high-voltage one and the tickets for the match are already available online. The opening ceremony will be held on the same day only two captains, MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma will be seen at the event and rest of the team captains will miss out on the same owing to the logistical issues.
