IPL Diaries 2018: Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Captain Kane Williamson Arrives Ahead of the T20 Tournament
Sunrisers Hyderabad's captain Kane Williamson joins the team ahead of the IPL 2018.
Team Sunrisers Hyderabad have Kane Williamson as the new captain of the team after David Warner’s ball-tampering row. Not very long ago the team stated about New Zealand captain Kane Williamson leading Sunrisers Hyderabad. Last night, Kane Williamson arrived Hyderabad ahead of the IPL 2018 and the skipper is all charged up to take up the responsibilities of the team and received a warm welcome.
Kane came straight to India post finishing New Zealand’s tournament against England. Dressed in a casual attire the new captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad flashed his smile. Team SRH shared the picture of Kane on social media. “Our Captain has arrived and settled in. He's ready to bring the cup back to #SRH this #IPL2018 with #OrangeArmy #TheEagleHasLanded.”
They also posted a video where Kane is seen talking about the new role of being the captain of the team. He also hopes to start the tournament on a winning note to gain the momentum. “The side looks quite balanced we hope to start on a winning note so that can carry the momentum ahead,” said Kane.
Talking about Sunrisers Hyderabad, the best part about the squad is that the Rashid Khan, Shikhar Dhawan and Kane Williamson are at the best of their forms. However, it would be interesting to see how the team covers up for the absence of David Warner as it could be a massive blow for the team. SRH will play against the Rajasthan Royals on April 9 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
