Mumbai, May 3: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will be locking horns with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 33rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018, later tonight. A win tonight will only require them to win just one more match in their last five matches. The match will be played at Eden Gardens, where the KKR team has an impressive home record.
So far in the tournament the CSK team, under the leadership of MS Dhoni, are on a roll. Out of the 8 matches, they have played, they have managed to win in 6 of them. With 12 points from 8 games, the CSK team are the table toppers in the latest IPL Points Table.
KKR has so far blown hot and cold this IPL and would be hoping to register a victory tonight and find some momentum in the remainder of the season. With an impressive home-record, KKR would also be looking forward to taking revenge for their previous loss on April 10.
The CSK line-up is formidable and their bench strength is untested. The CSK team broke a sweat in the nets session on the eve of their clash against KKR. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and Proteas skipper were seen practising in the nets. See what CSK’s official Twitter account tweeted:

The CSK franchise has been able to find a match winner in all of its matches during this season. Be it Ambati Rayudu, Shane Watson, MS Dhoni, Sam Billings, Dwayne Bravo or Suresh Raina, everyone has miraculously rescued their team in crunch situations.
Watson and Dhoni are back to their vintage best, whereas Rayudu and Bravo have rediscovered their sparkling touch in this season of IPL. It was South Africa’s Lungi Ngidi, whose impressive bowling, saw CSK ride home to victory against Delhi Daredevils in their last encounter.
A glimpse of Lungi Ngidi in the nets before their match against KKR later tonight:
