Ever since the venue for Team Chennai Super Kings has been changed to Pune for IPL 2018, players and fans are dejected because of particularly because of the fact that IPL was returning to Chennai after a couple of years. As we all know that the team has a massive fan following in the city, fans took to social media and were disappointed with the decision. Players like Harbhajan Singh, Suresh Raina expressed their displeasure on social media. However, the team left Chennai a few days ago and will play their first match at tomorrow against the Rajasthan Royal in Pune.

Ahead of the clash, many CSK followers from Chennai left to Pune to support their team. Dressed in yellow, the fans boarded the train from Chennai. The official page of the team shared the updates of the fans reaching Pune by sharing their pictures on videos. The captioned the picture, “Here we come #Pune! #WhistlePoduExpress #Yellove 💛🦁.”

On one hand, where the fans were seen boarding the train to Chennai, on the other, CSK players sweated it out in the nets. The players were seen at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium preparing for their upcoming game. A few pictures of the team were shared on social media.

The team currently is on no 4 at the points table after winning 2 matches out of 3. Talking about the team, they had missed the services of their key player Suresh Raina in the last game against the Kings XI Punjab due to a calf injury. "Raina will certainly miss this game, the blessing is that we've got another four days in between and there might be a chance that he is fit again for the next game," said Stephen Fleming. However, he also admitted that a player like Raina cannot be replaced. "We can't replace him. He is one of the best performer in the IPL and highest run scorer, so we can't replace him, but we have just got to find a way to minimise his loss,” he further added.
