The two-day extravaganza has come to an end with the 10 IPL franchises battling it out to acquire the players that preferred to have on board for IPL 2025. Rishabh Pant shattered the record to become the most expensive player ever at the IPL auction and the likes of Shreyas Iyer and his ex-KKR teammate Venkatesh Iyer too bagged big paychecks on Day 1. And Day 2 brought out some more drama and excitement with the likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar amd Will Jacks among the ones to attract a lot of attention. On Day 2, Vaibhav Suryavanshi scripted history as he became the youngest player at age 13 to bag an IPL contract when Rajasthan Royals signed him for Rs 1.1 crore. The likes of James Anderson and Saurabh Netravalkar did not get a chance to feature at the auction as they were not part of the accelerated bidding. Out of the top five most expensive players in IPL history, three came from the IPL 2025 mega auction. Some teams also made some smart signings towards the accelerated phase of the auction. The teams have wonderfully stacked up for IPL 2025 and we can't wait for the action to begin next season.

Rajasthan Royals have signed Ashok Sharma for Rs 30 lakh. Vignesh Puthur heads to Mumbai Indians for Rs 30 lakh. RCB have made the last signing of IPL 2025 mega auction as they acquire Mohit Rathee for Rs 30 lakh.
Gujarat Titans have signed Kulwant Khejroliya for Rs 30 lakh. Lungi Ngidi heads to RCB for Rs 1 crore. RCB also signed Abhinandan Singh for Rs 30 lakh.
Mumbai Indians have signed Arjun Tendulkar for Rs 30 lakh. They also signed Lizaad Williams for Rs 30 lakh. Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals got Kunal Rathore for Rs 30 lakh.
Mumbai Indians have signed Bevon Jacobs for Rs 30 lakh. Tripurana Vijay goes to Delhi Capitals for Rs 30 lakh. Delhi Capitals also sign Madhav Tiwari for INR 40 lakh.
Kwena Maphaka has been signed by Rajasthan Royals for 1.5 crore. Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru bid for the South African pacer in the accelerated auction. He has previously played for Mumbai Indians in the IPL. Meanwhile, Sikandar Raza has remained unsold.
Umran Malik has been signed by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 75 lakh. Sunrisers Hyderabad get Sachin Baby for Rs 30 lakh while CSK get Andre Siddarth for Rs 30 lakh.
KKR have signed Luvnith Sisodia for Rs 30 lakh. David Warner has remained unsold and won't have a team in IPL 2025! Piyush Chawla has gone unsold as well.
Eshan Malinga has been signed by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 1.2 crore. Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad were involved in a bidding battle before the Sri Lankan was acquired by the latter.

Pant broke the record for being the most expensive player purchased in the history of IPL with his INR 27 crore bid by Lucknow Super Giants. Shreyas Iyer, who held the aforementioned record for a few moments, was snarred by Punjab Kings for INR 26.75 crore. Venkatesh Iyer, who quite late in the evening became the third most expensive Indian player ever in IPL history was purchased back by Kolkata Knight Riders for a whopping INR 23.75 crore.
