In 2015, it was Kolkata Knight Riders batsman Nitish Rana who had fudged his age and the BCCI back then ha even imposed a ban on him. Fast bowler Shivam Mavi was also suspected to have duped his age and if the allegations are proven, the IPL franchisee could miss out on the services of the two cricketers for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League. Their cases are being referred to the BCCI and their fate as of now is dangling.
So far Shivam Mavi has played 6 FC games and 16 List-A matches. Kolkata Knight Riders fans would be eager to know the fate of the two cricketers and would be keeping their fingers crossed to avoid the two cricketers from facing a ban.
