As the VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 inches towards its business end, we are seeing the minnows triumph and some of the most-fancied teams buckling under pressure. A quick recap of week 4 of the IPL takes us through some fascinating records and games. We had MS Dhoni become the first Indian batsman to hit 200 IPL sixes, Sunrisers Hyderabad's resurgence that earned the fourth-spot in the IPL 2019 points table (updated till RCB vs CSK match on April 21) and so much more.

Sunrisers Hyderabad saw an upturn in form as they won both their games this week moving to fourth in the points table. Last season’s finalist banking on Jonny Bairstow and David Warner’s sublime form swept away oppositions with their gameplay. Issues still exist with their middle order though which is yet to showcase a noteworthy performance.

South African pacer Kagiso Rabada is having a brilliant season in the IPL as he continues to lead the bowling charts with 21 wickets. His spells, be it in the middle stages or at the death have contributed to the rise of Delhi Capitals who have seen a change in their fortunes.

Virat Kohli moved to second in the list of all-time century makers in the IPL with his fifth century in the cash-rich league coming against the Kolkata Knight Riders. Only Chris Gayle with six centuries is now ahead of Kohli in this honours list.

Andre Russell Continues to Dazzle The Audience With His Six-Hitting Abilities

West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell almost single-handedly won KKR the game against RCB with a 25 ball 65 that included nine sixes. He also holds the best strike rate in the history of the IPL at 188.26 and boasts of an average of 75.40 in this edition of the IPL.

David Warner Remains The Orange Cap Holder

Australian opener David Warner leads the Orange Cap chart with 517 runs in 9 innings. The left-handed batsman has been instrumental in almost every game Hyderabad has won and below him in the table is fellow opener Jonny Bairstow with 445 runs.

MS Dhoni Becomes The First Indian to Hit 200 Sixes in IPL

Indian batting maestro Mahendra Singh Dhoni became the first Indian batsman to hit 200 sixes in the Indian Premier League. The way he is batting this season, AB De Villiers’ 204 sixes should be overtaken soon but reaching to Chris Gayle’s 323 towering hits is a tall ask.

A brilliant game of cricket decided by a run out from Bangalore wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel on the last ball of the game. Chennai were down and out chasing 162 for victory but some power hitting from MS Dhoni almost got them home. He failed to make contact with the last ball from Umesh Yadav after taking 25 runs off his first five.
