A few days ago, the IPL governing council had asked the owners of the teams to hand out the names of the players who would not be a part of their squad for the upcoming tournament in 2019. Now, as per the latest reports, the Royal Challengers Bangalore has sold South African wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock to Mumbai Indians. The 12th Indian Premier League Might Be Scheduled to Take Place in UAE or South Africa, Says Report.

The Indian Premier League has a couple of trading windows one that starts immediately after the most of the tournament gets over. The transfer window remains open until one month before the auctions. The second one starts after the auction until the start of the tournament. The transfer window is open for the uncapped players and the cricketers who have not played more than two matches for a side. The current transfer window will remain open until November 15, 2018, and it’s quite obvious that the franchises are busy building strategies for the upcoming season. Also, an additional amount RS 3 crore would be made available for the franchises for the fresh buys and this would be in addition to the leftover money from last year’s purse.

Talking about IPL 2019 auctions, no official dates have been declared for the same. But as per reports, the auctions will take place on December 16, 2018.  The IPL 2019 is all set to take place in Dubai due to the elections in India.
