While a few teams had already started preparing for the upcoming season, Kolkata Knight Riders began their first official nets yesterday at the Cricket Association of Bengal. Shubman Gill, Robin Uthappa, Rinku Kumar, Prithviraj and few others sweated it out in the nets. KKR’s support staff looked extremely animated and excited as the players were on the top of their game. KKR CEO Venky Mysore was also present at the venue and looked after the proceedings and also interacted with the players. The team will play their first home game on March 24, 2019, against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. The next game will be played on March 27, 2019, against Kings XI Punjab at the Eden Gardens. The IPL 2019 will begin on March 23, 2019. The match tickets are available on BookMyShow.com.
