A superb batting effort by the Mumbai Indians saw them go past two hundred batting first which virtually sealed the fate of Chennai Super Kings. Lendl Simmons and Rohit Sharma were instrumental in Mumbai getting this huge total in the final. Chennai did try and make a contest of the game with Dwayne Smith hitting a 57. But after his wicket, the CSK batting caved in with Mitchel McClenaghan picking up three wickets.
