Amidst the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan, Delhi Capitals batsman Shikhar Dhawan was at his honest best as he picked former Pakistani pacer Shoaib Akhtar as his all-time favourite bowler. During a rapid-fire interview with the Delhi Capitals, the Indian opener named Akhtar as his favourite. During the rapid-fire session, Dhawan also talked about Delhi’s food, people and places he likes to visit in the capital. The left-handed opening batsman, who has faced some hostile bowling in his career, also faced some interesting questions like, which role he would have liked to play if he was a movie star. Dhawan picked Rowdy Rathore character played by Akshay Kumar.

Dhawan will return to Delhi in the Indian Premier League 2019 (IPL). The left-hander was with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) from past few seasons. The 33-year-old batsman has played 143 in IPL and has scored 4058 runs thus far. Dhawan has scored 32 half-centuries in IPL and averages 33.26 with a strike-rate of 123.53. His highest score is unbeaten 95.
