Just a few days ahead of the IPL 2019 auction, over 1000 players who have registered themselves for the event which is scheduled to take place on December 18, 2018. As per reports, no cricketer has entered Rs 2 crore club. The maximum price set for an Indian player is Rs 2.5 crore for the former Rajasthan Royals player is Jaydev Unadkat. Yuvraj Singh and Mohamed Shami reportedly have entered Rs 1 crore club. Akshar Patel, Wriddhiman Saha, Yuvraj Singh and Ishant Sharma have a base price of Rs 1 crore. Ishant Sharma is currently touring Australia for the Test matches. Australian batsmen Glenn Maxwell and Aaron Finch have opted out of the IPL 2019 auctions to focus on the national duties. The IPL 2019 schedule is yet to be confirmed but most likely the tournament will start from March 29 and end somewhere in the third week of the May.
