Just a few days ahead of the IPL 2019 auction, over 1000 players who have registered themselves for the event which is scheduled to take place on December 18, 2018. As per reports, no cricketer has entered Rs 2 crore club. The maximum price set for an Indian player is Rs 2.5 crore for the former Rajasthan Royals player is Jaydev Unadkat. Yuvraj Singh and Mohamed Shami reportedly have entered Rs 1 crore club. Unadkat had been the most expensive player in IPL 2018 and was bought by Rajasthan Royals and was released after having a mediocre season. Akshar Patel, Wriddhiman Saha, Yuvraj Singh and Ishant Sharma have a base price of Rs 1 crore. Ishant Sharma is currently touring Australia for the Test matches.
