A wise man once said, “A picture is worth a thousand words,” and that’s we can say about this snap. This priceless picture shows utmost sign of sportsmanship where  Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni are seen hugging each other after Chennai Super Kings registered a thumping victory against the Royal Challengers Bangalore by 5 wickets at the IPL 2018.

Dhoni and Virat have faced each other several times before 2017, but this was the first time that they locked horns after the former stepped down from ODI and T20 captaincy January 2017. A few weeks later, the reins of Rising Pune Supergiants were handed over to Steve Smith.  Virat and MS Dhoni might be opponents, but that doesn’t affect their respect for each other and both were seen hugging each other. The official handle of IPL, shared the picture and captioned it, “Reunited and how 😍.”

Virat on many occasions has stood for Dhoni when the latter faced the heat for his average performances. Slamming the critics, the 29-year-old said, "If someone raises questions about him and what his interests are for the Indian cricket team, I think it's very unfair on him because he has literally created this new bunch of people and given them such confidence after such big stars left Indian cricket... And he was the one coping with all the criticism and all the blame when the team was in transition and not being able to give the results... But not once did he show his frustration to the team... He kept his composure which I think is the biggest positive... I have seen those times and I respect him so much for that because he never let us feel the pressure of what's happening.”
