Owing to the elections in Karnataka on May 12, there has been a slight change in the matches between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils. The RCB has swapped their home game with Delhi Daredevils. Virat Kohli’s men will now play their home game on April 21st and travel Delhi on May 12.
The official account of the Royal Challengers Bangalore made an announcement about the change in the schedule. The post read, “#DD, #CSK, #KKR, #MI! We now play 4 blockbuster games in a row at 🏠 owing to Karnataka elections on 12th May #CantWait #PlayBold.”
Talking about Royal Challengers Bangalore, the tickets for the matches have already gone live. The ticket prices for RCB matches, online, will begin from Rs. 1750 and the maximum a spectator will have to shell out would be Rs. 35000 too. Yes, that’s right. If you want to seat in the Eros Now P2 stand, you will have to pay that much amount.
The ticket rates of RCB matches vary and are priced differently for different games. Tickets for the fans are made available for HP P Terrace, Eros Now P2, Duroguard P Corporate, Eros Now P1 Annex, Wrogn D Corporate, amongst other stands.
The team has not won a single contest so far in 10 years. It will be interesting to see how the RCB team fares under Virat Kohli’s captaincy this season. The team will be banking heavily on the spin-duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Washington Sundar in their quest of maiden IPL title. With Brendon McCullum, AB de Villiers, and captain Kohli himself in the ranks, Diwali might come soon at M. Chinnaswamy stadium this year!
