Like previous seasons of Indian Premier League (IPL) Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have once again donned the green jersey for one of their home games. RCB took to the field in a green jersey instead of usual red and black against Rajasthan Royals at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. RCB’s ‘Go Green’ initiative or ‘Go green Match’, which has now become a norm over the years, started in 2011 and since then the franchise is doing its bit to raise awareness about global warming.

Meanwhile, RCB comes into the game having defeated Kings XI Punjab in their last outing at home. The Kohli-led side defeated KXIP by four wickets. Earlier, RCB lost its opening match of the season to Kolkata Knight Riders by four wickets. It was an away game for the Bangalore-based side.

The match against Royals is the second home game of the season for RCB. Kohli after winning the toss opted to bowl first. The home side made one change for this tie, replacing Sarfaraz Khan with Pawan Negi. Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, made no change to their side from the last playing XI. The Rahane-led side has also won one and lost as many thus far.
