South African import in Chennai Super Kings (CSK) squad Lungi Ngidi has flown back home after his father, Jerome Ngidi, passed away on Friday. Ngidi was in India for the Indian Premier League 2018 (IPL 2018). The CSK pacer could well miss the rest of the season following the sad demise of his father. Meanwhile, to make matters worse for Ngidi he was subjected to ‘strip search’ at an airport while on his way to Johannesburg, South Africa. Ngidi confirmed it on twitter. However, it is not known which airport the pacer was referring to. Here's an Interesting Twitter Conversation Between Rashid Khan & Danielle Wyatt

Back to the sad demise of Ngidi’s father, Titans CEO Jacques Faul said that his team is ready to assist the tragedy hit pacer. “I can confirm the sad news and our deepest condolences go to his family and friends. As a cricket family‚ we will assist wherever we can at this difficult time for the family‚” Faul was quoted as saying by Times Live.
Ngidi, who was bought by CSK for INR 50 Lakh at the IPL auction, did not feature in any of the two games for the team. CSK were off to an impressive start winning both their two matches so far. They defeated Mumbai Indians in the opening match of IPL 2018 and then outplayed Kolkata Knight Riders.
