The complete schedule and timetable of IPL 2018 show a total of 60 matches (56 group stage and four knockoffs) played among eight teams. Like previous editions, league matches are divided into home and away fixtures with tickets of the same already made available to be booked online.
The eleventh edition of India’s biggest sporting tournament Indian Premier League (IPL) or VIVO Indian Premier League 2018 is all scheduled to kickstart on April 7. The timetable of two-month-long humongous event presents exciting fixtures that will continue until the IPL 11 final match on May 27. The opening match of IPL 2018 will see defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) take on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in a home game held at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai post-IPL Opening Ceremony. For the first time in the history of Indian Premier League, the opening ceremony will not have a participation of all team captains. It will be just skippers of playing sides of the first match i.e. Rohit Sharma of MI and MS Dhoni of CSK will be in attendance as BCCI cited lack of preparation and logistics at end of officials for such a mishappening.
Chennai team along with another team Rajasthan Royals (RR) captained by Steve Smith are making a return in the competition after a gap of two years. The other teams are Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) led by Virat Kohli, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captained by Dinesh Karthik, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) with Ravi Ashwin as the captain, Delhi Daredevils (DD) headed by Gautam Gambhir and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captained by David Warner.

Coming to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) match tickets in IPL 2018, fans can start booking tickets on TicketGenie and Liveinstyle. The website link to buy RCB matches tickets is also mentioned on the official website of Royal Challengers Bangalore. The tickets to watch Virat Kohli and Co. at M Chinnaswamy Stadium are priced between at Rs 1750 to Rs 35000. However, there are several stands on the ground that are yet to open for sale. So, hopefully, ardent RCB and Kohli fans can get tickets are cheaper prices.
For Kings XI Punjab, Indian e-payments and e-commerce brand Paytm along with event ticketing platform Insider.in have joined hands to begin the sale of IPL 2018 tickets from March 22 onwards. The team’s games will be divided between Holkar Stadium Cricket Stadium, Indore and I.S. Bindra Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali. Insider.in is also selling tickets for Delhi Daredevils home matches held at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium. As for Sunrisers Hyderabad team, they have officially begun the sale of tickets for home games to be held at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. The lowest price is Rs 500 and moves up to Rs 3,906.25.
