Kings XI Punjab obviously had all the reasons to celebrate. With Chris Gayle scoring a swashbuckling unbeaten knock of 103 off 63 balls and team Kings XI Punjab won the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad by 15 runs. It was obvious for the team to celebrate as they are now on position 3 of the IPL 2018 Points Table.

Post reaching the hotel, the Kings XI Punjab ordered a cake for the Chris Gayle. The official page of the team shared the video of the celebrations on their social media. Gayle cut the cake in presence of his teammates who whistled and hooted for the Jamaican left-hander. A while ago we told you that Gayle’s innings, Virender Sehwag roasted Royal Challengers Bangalore for not retaining the left-hander. He took to Twitter and shared a couple of pictures, one with Chris Gayle in RCB’s uniform when he got out on 0 and the other image had the cricketer donning KXIP’s jersey post his terrific innings. He captioned the picture, “If you don’t Then you don’t Love me at my Deserve me at my.”

In the following tweet, Sehwag wrote, “I saved the IPL by picking - @henrygayle 🤣🤣.”

Chris Gayle replied to the tweet and wrote, “Yes.”

Last night, the Is Bindra Stadium, Mohali witnessed fireworks from the Jamaican left-hander. His innings made the team post a total of 193 runs. However, Sunrisers Hyderabad remained unperturbed with the score. After Shikhar Dhawan got retired hurt, captain Kane Williamson scored 53 and Manish Pandey made 57 runs.
