Ahead of the game a few players of Sunrisers was spotted at a radio station that happens to be the sponsor of the team. SRH skipper Kane Williamson too was around and was seen letting his hair down at the radio station.
Kane was asked a host of funny questions by the RJ and he very sportingly answered all of them. He also revealed that Alia Bhatt is his favourite actress. Kane further said that AR Rahman’s Jai Ho is his favourite Hindi track. The official page of the team shared the video of the same. Check it out.
After losing a couple of matches, team Sunrisers Hyderabad registered an emphatic victory against the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium. Team SRH won the low-scoring game by 31 runs as Siddharth Kaul and Rashid Khan chipped in by clinching vital wickets at the right time. With this victory, the Sunrisers Hyderabad are currently on number 3 of the IPL 2018 Points Table. With this, Kane Williamson also won the Orange Cap for having 259 runs in 6 games. Team SRH, so far in the IPL 2018 has won four games out of 6.
Post winning the game, celebrated their win by cutting a cake. The social media handle of the team shared a few pictures of the celebration and captioned it, “Check out how the #OrangeArmy troops celebrated after their first victory at Wankhede beating the Paltans for the 2nd time this season. #MIvSRH.”
Sunrisers Hyderabad will now face the Kings XI Punjab at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on April 26, 2018. It will surely be an interesting game to watch as both teams would not want to break their winning streak. Kane Williamson’s men will be eyeing a revenge as it was the KXIP who defeated them by 15 runs earlier.
