Last month we saw how Suryakumar Yadav was made to wear an emoji kit, which is basically a jumpsuit after the batsman arrived late to board the bus. It was basically a ‘punishment’ for Yadav. This season, Mumbai Indians, have decided to ‘punish’ players who fail to report on time for various team activities. But punish, in a unique way. The players are made to wear the emoji kit, which makes them 'standout' from rest of the squad.  IPL 2018 Points Table

Now, continuing with their punishment routine, the defending champions' wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan, Anukul Roy and Rahul Chahar were made to wear the emoji kit as the squad travelled from Mumbai to Bengaluru.

The reasons for punishment are different. While Ishan was punished for missing a gym session, Anukul failed to report for a session with the physio and Chahar instead of tracksuit wore jeans when beforehand the whole team was asked to follow the dress code. Apparently, the trio felt embarrassed as they entered the airport.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians after defeating Chennai Super Kings are up against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. MI have thus far won just two matches out of seven matches and are placed sixth on the IPL 2018 points table.

Interestingly, MI's first win of the season was against RCB and they will be looking to make two in two against Virat Kohli’s side. RCB too, on the other hand, have won two out of seven matches and are in desperate need of a win.
