Team Chennai Super Kings are currently in Jaipur for their upcoming game against the Rajasthan Royals. A few members of the team including MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, Shane Watson and David Willey last evening attended a promotional event in the Pink City and obviously the media was around. The players were handed a tennis ball and they had to throw it towards the media men seated ahead. The one who gets the ball gets to question the players.

One of the journalists asked Dhoni how he remains so calm under pressure situations. Known for his wit, the MS said, “When you are the captain, you are under minimum pressure. If there’s a good partnership going on, hand over the ball to Jadeja, David Willey or Watson. The one who gets hit for a six gets the abuse and not the captain because the skipper is not bowling. When the batsman doesn’t score he faces the music. So being a captain you are at a safer side. Being the skipper gives you a liberty to play the blame game.” Post his answer, everyone in the room busted into splits.

In the same conference, he was asked how he hits such tall sixes. Once again Dhoni displayed his wits and said, “Aankhein bandh karo, balla upar karo aur bhagwan ka naam lo.” The room once again echoed into the sound of laughter. Check out the video below.

Dhoni also shared his best memories with the Pink City and said, “I remember I scored 183 runs back then, which was quite a big deal then.” Whenever MS visits the city, he makes it a point to eat dal baati churma. Sharing his success mantras Dhoni said, “Never think about the results because the process is more important and be honest with yourself.”

He also thanked the fans of Chennai Super Kings for their constant support. Talking about the team, CSK is currently on position 2 of the IPL 2018 Points Table. The Yellow Army has 14 points and has won 7 games out of 10.
