It’s a Super Saturday as the Day 29 of the IPL 2018 schedule brings us a couple of contests on the platter. Match number 35 is between the Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings which is scheduled to happen at 4.00 PM. Match number 36 is between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Daredevils. This is the second time that all RCB and CSK are contesting against each other in IPL 11. The last time RCB and CSK contested against each other in Bangalore, the guests walked away with a victory of 5 runs despite the game being a high-scoring one.

Whereas, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Daredevils are coming to lock horns with each other for the first time in the IPL 2018 in match number 36. Before we spell out our predictions for both the matches today let’s talk about yesterday’s game where the Mumbai Indians won an interesting game against Kings XI Punjab at the Holkar Stadium in Indore.

The Mumbai Indians has lost their previous game against the Royal Challengers Bangalore by 14 runs and were featured amongst the last three spots of the IPL 2018 Points Table. They desperately needed to win a game for keeping their hopes alive for the playoffs. After winning the toss, Mumbai Indians elected to bowl first. The Kings XI Punjab put out a score of 174 runs for the guests. It was the swashbuckling innings of Suryakumar Yadav of 57 off 42 balls that led MI to victory. Krunal Pandya too played a crucial role in finishing the match with Rohit Sharma by chipping in with 24 runs.  Surya also walked away with the Man of the Match Award.

Day 29 Schedule: Chennai Super Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore; Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Delhi Daredevils

Talking about match number 35, the teams are meeting each other for the second time.  It was on April 25  2018, in Bengaluru that CSK and RCB came head on and the high scoring game witnessed a superb 70 runs from MS Dhoni. Thus the Yellow Army won their last game against the RCB.  So far, CSK has defeated RCB in the last 5 games between the two teams.

Whereas in match number 36, Sunrisers Hyderabad will play against the Delhi Daredevils. Out of the 10 matches between the two teams, SRH has won 6 matches whereas DD has won 4. DD Desperately need another victory for keeping their hopes alive for the play offs as they have 6 points currently. Whereas, Sunrisers Hyderabad too wouldn’t want to give up their winning spree as they would want to stay the top of the IPL 2018 Points Table.

Day 29 Predictions: CSK, RCB, SRH & DD look for victory

All four teams are looking to win the upcoming games today. Today, for match number 35 & 36 we would go with the underdogs. For us, we think RCB and DD would leave no stone unturned to win their games.

As of now, the Sunrisers Hyderabad are sitting comfortably at the top of the IPL 2018 Points Table. The Yellow Army is on number 2 followed by KKR on 3 and then KXIP on 4. RCB is on number 6 and DD is on number 7.
