Mohali, April 19: West Indian batting great and king of T20s Chris Gayle has scored yet another T20 hundred in the Indian Premier League (IPL). This time, he has scored a century against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Playing for Kings XI Punjab after he was picked by Preity Zinta's team as he went unsold in the first round of auctions, Chris Gayle has the most number of hundreds in IPL. This was Gayle's 6th hundred overall in the IPL and the first hundred of the season. Catch the live updates of the match. 

Chris Gayle, who is playing for Kings XI Punjab this season opened the batting with KL Rahul and took Punjab to a flying start. He remained unbeaten and scored 104 runs of 63 balls and his innings included 11 sixes and one four. Chris Gayle has also scored the highest runs in an innings in IPL when he scored 175 against Pune Warriors in the 2013 season of IPL. He also scored the fastest century in the same innings when he scored a century of just 30 balls playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Coming into this season, the Jamaican, who had played for Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the previous seasons, went unsold in the first round of auctions as he had suffered an uneven form before the IPL.  He was later bought by Kings XI Punjab. By scoring this hundred, he has proved that he is back and how!
